Landowner cautions If you have any complaints, questions, have been coerced, intimidated or threatened, contact the New York State Attorney General, Mike Danaher at (607) 721-8796 3 year lease with 2 year option with a first right to refusal. Every parcel of property is a separate lease. No use of ponds or water on the property. No gas storage on your property. Do not let the Landsmen leave without giving you a SIGNED copy of your lease. Hire your own forester when clearing timber, tell them you want the timber and separated in groups by species when removed from the clearing. This way you can sell it.
